General information only
Everything on Tools, including calculators, results, tables and articles, is for general information and education. It is not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your circumstances.
Financial and tax tools
Money calculators produce estimates based on the inputs you provide and the assumptions stated on each page, such as fixed interest rates, standard tax codes or flat state tax rates. Lenders, employers and tax authorities may calculate differently. We are not authorised or regulated financial advisers. Before making financial decisions, check figures with your lender, payroll department, HMRC, the IRS or a regulated adviser. In the UK, free guidance is available from MoneyHelper; in the US, from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Health and pregnancy tools
Health calculators use established equations that are designed for populations, not individuals, and can be wrong for you. They are not medical advice and cannot diagnose or treat any condition. Calorie, macro and body fat tools are not designed for pregnancy, children or people with medical conditions affecting weight; ask your doctor first. The due date and ovulation calculators give estimates only and must not be used as contraception. If you are worried about your health, contact your doctor, midwife, NHS 111 (UK) or emergency services.
Accuracy and updates
We check formulas and figures carefully and show when each tool’s figures apply, but rules and rates change and mistakes can happen. We do not warrant that any result is accurate, complete or current. If you find an error, please tell us.

This site shows ads served by Google. We do not choose individual ads and their appearance is not an endorsement. Ads never influence the results our tools produce.
