Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what information Tools (www.plain-purple-ant.websitedesignogs.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: the numbers and text you enter into our tools stay on your device. We use cookies for advertising and anonymous statistics, and only with your consent where the law requires it.

Who we are

Tools is the data controller for this website. You can contact us about privacy at maservices131@gmail.com.

Information you enter into tools

Our calculators, converters and generators run in your web browser. Values, dates, text, passwords and images you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers. Some tools let you create a share link; if you do, the values you chose to share are placed in that link, and anyone you send it to can see them. Tools that handle sensitive information, such as passwords, Wi-Fi details and cycle dates, never put that information in a link.

Your browser may remember small preferences, such as metric or imperial units, your currency and light or dark mode, using local storage. These stay on your device and you can clear them in your browser settings.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are deleted on a rolling basis.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used, in aggregate. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city) and device type. We do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, limit how often you see them and measure performance. Depending on your choices, ads may be personalised based on your visits to this and other websites.

Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before advertising and analytics cookies are set for personalised purposes. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown at the bottom of pages served with that message. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.

You can also:

  • Consent for personalised advertising and analytics cookies.
  • Legitimate interests for keeping the site secure, preventing fraud and understanding aggregate use, where the law allows.
  • Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information by law.

Sharing and international transfers

We share information only with service providers who help run the site: our hosting provider, Google (Analytics and AdSense) and, where used, a content delivery network. Some of these providers process data outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers rely on safeguards such as the UK–US data bridge, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal information for money.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Because tool inputs never reach us, we hold very little information that identifies you; most data is held by Google, which you can manage through your Google account and the links above.

UK and EU: you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

California and other US states: you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use the consent or privacy settings on the site or the opt-out links above, or email us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the UK and EU), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because tool inputs stay in your browser, the most sensitive information you might enter is never transmitted to us.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
